White River State Park is located on the city of Bull Shoals’ side of Bull Shoals dam. It includes an overlook of the White River and the downstream side of the dam. It also includes a visitor center you can visit during business hours.
There is also a large spring in the park known as Big Spring. The park is a popular camping destination, so it is important to reserve your spot early. This is especially true for holiday weekends. To check campsite availability, you can visit the Arkansas State Park website for the park.
