Rim Shoals Access

The Rim Shoals Access is on Rim Shoals Road near Mountain Home, AR. The area has a boat launch as well as a handicap-accessible fishing area. At low water, it looks like it is possible to wade or bank fish.

Check the map below for directions from Mountain Home, AR. In addition to the boat launch and fishing access, there is a trail called Rim Shoals Trail. This trail is provided by the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission for anglers to walk along the river for fishing access. Trout are plentiful in this stretch of the river, with anglers able to catch rainbow, brown, and cutthroat trout along the river and the shoals.
