The Y Highway scenic overlook has a parking area that overlooks Lake Taneycomo in Forsyth, MO. The Y Highway scenic overlook provides incredible views of the White River Valley.

Lake Taneycomo was formed when the Powersite Dam was constructed to provide hydroelectric power to the area in 1913. Powersite Dam is also called Ozark Beach Dam.
The location of the Y highway scenic overlook is, of course, on Y highway in Forsythe, Mo. Take the turn onto Y highway from Highway 160 as you are going through Forsythe. There will be a large paved pull-off to the right overlooking Lake Taneycomo.
