Forrest & Nina Wood Access area has a boat launch and also has a walkway down to the river. This is a catch-and-release area. Barbless hooks are required to be used. There is a handicap-accessible ramp that leads down to the riverside for greater access to all.
This access is almost directly across the river from the Jim Griffin Access. Be sure and get your Arkansas fishing license and trout permit before you go.
There are numerous other access points for trout fishermen along the river. Boat access may be hindered at low water levels when attempting to launch from this ramp.
This access point is provided by the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission.
